- Suitable for a large variety of pavement rehabilitation conditions
- Suitable for many different materials - pavement gravels and subgrade
materials
- Suitable with conventional stabilising equipment and rollers
- Polyroad polymer is insoluble and has not degraded in the field to
date (approximately 16 years)
- Enhanced pavement material strength while remaining flexible
- Not known to produce cracking
- Maintains moisture equilibrium once compacted
- Pavement strength maintained due to no wetting up of fines
- Even if sprayed seal and/or AC has oxidised and cracked
- Able to be carried out in cold weather
- Does not involve chemical reaction
- Can achieve compaction drier than normally practiced
- Able to be tyned/remixed if initial compaction did not achieve
specification
- Re-compaction and final trimming not affected by time constraints
- Polyroad PR11L, PR21L and
PR100 are available in 20 kg bags, 1 and 1.5 tonne bags and bulk road
tankers (including B-doubles)
- Reduced demand on new pavement material resources and reduced haulage
on existing road system
- Recycling of industrial by-products
- Reduced road user delays with a high production stabilising technique
Back to Top
- Highly cost effective binder relative to performance delivered to
date
- High salvage value
- Easily recycled (can be readily remixed/reshaped)
- Improves whole-of-life-cycle cost
- No known maintenance costs to date (other than cyclic reseals)
No failures attributed to Polyroad to date (based on adequate
pre-construction testing and competent construction).
